Sad to see that wrestling legend and former NWA World Heavyweight champion Jack Brisco died today. He recently had open heart surgery but this was still unexpected.
I am sure the WWE will pay some sort of tribute to him tonight since he and his brother Jerry worked for the WWE at different times and Jerry is still employed with the WWE.
They helped jumpstart the then WWF's expansion in 1984 when they sold their stake in Georgia Championship Wrestling giving Vince access to a national cable audience for the first time.
