  • Martel was originally booked to win the match. However, he suffered a torn knee ligament after hitting his leg on the opposite turnbuckles due to a botched hip toss from Booker.
  • The winner of the match was to immediately defend the title against Saturn.
• Booker T defeated Saturn to retain the WCW World Television Championship (14:23)
  • Booker pinned Saturn after a Harlem Sidekick.
  • Due to Martel's injury and the reworking of the finish, Saturn and Booker were forced to improvise the entire match.
• Disco Inferno defeated La Parka (11:41)
  • Inferno pinned Parka after a Chart Buster.
• Goldberg defeated Brad Armstrong (2:23)
  • Goldberg pinned Armstrong after a Jackhammer.
  • This was a bonus match.
• Chris Jericho defeated Juventud Guerrera in a Title versus Mask match to retain the WCW Cruiserweight Championship (13:29)
  • Jericho forced Guerrera to submit with the Liontamer.
  • As per the prematch stipulation Guerrera was forced to give up his mask.
• The British Bulldog defeated Steve McMichael (6:10)
  • Bulldog forced McMichael to submit with an armbar.
  • McMichael suffered a broken arm during the course of the match.
• Diamond Dallas Page defeated Chris Benoit to retain the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship (15:46)
  • Page pinned Benoit after a Diamond Cutter.
• Lex Luger defeated Randy Savage (with Miss Elizabeth) (7:26)
  • Luger forced Savage to submit with the Torture Rack.
  • Elizabeth interfered while Luger first put Savage in the Torture Rack and pulled him down.
  • Immediately after that, Scott Norton, Buff Bagwell, Brian Adams, and Vincent rushed the ring and began attacking Luger.
  • Hollywood Hogan then came out and called all four members of the nWo back to the locker room, thus leaving Savage alone in the ring.
• The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) (with Dusty Rhodes) defeated The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott) (with Ted DiBiase) to win the WCW World Tag Team Championship (4:16)
  • Hall pinned Rick after an Outsider's Edge.
  • Scott turned on Rick midway through the match and refused to help him fight off the Outsiders.
  • After the match Scott handed the tag team title belts to the Outsiders and joined the nWo.
• Sting defeated Hollywood Hogan to win the vacant WCW World Heavyweight Championship (16:33)
  • Sting pinned Hogan after a Scorpion Deathdrop.
  • While Sting hit the move, Hogan kicked referee Nick Patrick and knocked him down.
  • While the referee was down, Scott Norton, Buff Bagwell, Brian Adams, Vincent, Konnan, and Randy Savage came to the ring.
  • Everyone except Savage went to attack Sting. As Hogan was trying to get up, Savage struck him with a spraycan and left the ring. Sting scored the pin and won the match.
