Won the WWA Tag Team titles in Indianapolis on March 4th 1978 defeating the Valiant Brothers (Handsome Jimmy and Luscious Johnny). They held the titles until July 22nd 1978 when they lost a rematch to the Valiant Brothers in Indianapolis.

R.I.P. Lance Russell

Legendary Memphis announcer Lance Russell has died at the age of 91.  I got to see him for a short time in the early 1980s when one of our local Indianapolis tv stations picked up Memphis wrestling.  He soon became my favorite voice in wrestling and remained that until the end.
