R.I.P. Chyna

We said a sad goodbye to Joanie Laurer or Chyna as she was better known to the world. Chyna arrived on the scene in the late 1990s as Triple H's bodyguard and redefined lady wrestler and Diva. She was strong, beautiful, confident and didn't take crap off of anybody. What we found out later was that Joanie was a sad and troubled woman who had finally found a home and people who seemingly loved her but things didn't work out and after a really good time as Mamacita with Eddie Guerrero she was pushed out by "the powers that be". After leaving the WWE/WWF Joanie made some bad personal decisions and she couldn't outrun her past problems and sadly it all culminated in yesterday's news that she was found dead in her home by a friend who had come to check on her.

Yesterday, the current NXT champion Finn Balor became the longest reigning NXT champ in history, surpassing Neville’s record of 287 days. There have been seven NXT champions so far - Seth Rollins, Big E, Bo Dallas, Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Balor - and Balor won the title on July 4, 2015 during a WWE Network event from Tokyo, Japan, defeating Kevin Owens for the title. Following Balor and Neville, Bo Dallas has the third longest reign with 280 days, then Big E with 168 days, Kevin Owens with 143 days, Seth Rollins with 133 days, and Sami Zayn with just 62 days.
